Our purpose
Laboratory teams need reliable tools. Programme managers need a view across the network. Care teams need results that reach them. DataToCare brings those workflows together.
Configurable laboratory workflows, result forms and reporting for the programme it serves.
Local capture and queued transmission support work where connectivity is unreliable.
Desktop, Web, Mobile and Intelligence connect operational work with programme understanding.
Our story
DataToCare’s roots are in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The software has evolved; its purpose remains connected diagnostic information.
Emmanuel André, Benjamin Nyange and field partners developed a prototype to transmit GeneXpert information by SMS from laboratories in DR Congo.
Building on this work, Savics developed DataToCare, a new solution founded by Aïssa Ghouti, Anatole Abé Etoumou, Julie Vanvolsem, and Xavier Morelle. Combining their technical expertise and complementary backgrounds, the four founders brought the vision to life, launching the first version in August 2016.
Desktop, Web and Mobile connect laboratory workflows. DataToCare Intelligence adds explainable operational analysis for programme teams.
Country ownership
In-country servers keep data under national ownership. A free, royalty-free perpetual licence for non-commercial use and full source-code access on request for non-commercial entities support countries in taking ownership of the platform.
Build national expertise
A three-year curriculum for national specialists in DR Congo (DRC), Cameroon, Mali and Togo, building the teams who operate and sustain their national systems.
Keep the system delivering
A managed service working with national decision-makers to keep the system delivering for laboratory networks and health programmes.
A shared effort
The platform’s story includes laboratory staff, ministries of health and public-health partners. Explore the programmes and institutions featured on our Impact page.
